Ignite is a dance weekender with workshops by day, and competition & performances at night. The workshops are being run by some of Australa & NZ’s best dancers and teachers.
The simple answer is NO.
The rules are fairly similar in nature but some competitions choose to run differently, so it’s important you check the rules before registering.
Furthermore, from time to time the conditions for progressing up the ranks at competitions are slightly tightened or slightly relaxed as required to ensure a pool of fantastic dancers are competing at the upper levels. Please check carefully to ensure you register at the correct level.

Everyone is welcome to join us for a fabulous weekend celebrating Modern Jive. Your friends who don’t dance (yet) are very welcome to get up and have a boogie during the breaks, and they will absolutely love watching all the performances and the competitors pushing themselves to the limit. The Saturday and Sunday night will both provide a brilliant spectacle with some of the best in Modern Jivers, so bring your family and friends to see the best dancers in action.
Yes, there is parking on-site, but carpool if you can, because it’s first in, best dressed!
